I got my first american cocker in 1977. Since then I have bred over 50 litters of them, and started breeding japanese akitas in 2003. I have been honored for my breeding by the Finnish Kennel Club and the Finnish Dog Breeders' Society. I also have a silver medal from the Finnish Spaniel Club and the Finnish Kennel Club. I have bred multiple International Beauty Champions, Champions of many different countries as well as Tracking Champions. There are many Candida's dogs in different countries all over the world. I am also a qualified show judge for some breeds in FCI groups 5 and 8 since 2003. Currently I live in Espoo with one cocker spaniel, Alli (Afterglow Allegra) and three akitas, Routa (Razmus Akai Oujisama Go), Kukka (Candida's Flower Dance) and Lumi (Candida's October Opal). |

I was born into a family with dogs, and I've spent all my life surrounded by them. I was two weeks old at my very first blood tracking competition, and three weeks at my first dog show. I competed in Junior Handling for a few years, and now I mostly handle and groom all of our dogs. Since 2009 the prefix Candida's has been under both our ownerships. I am currently studying veterinary medicine at the University of Helsinki, looking to graduate in 2016, and working part-time at a veterinary clinic. I live in Helsinki with two american cockers, Aida (Exclamation Rose Kiss) and Moriz (Candida's Moody Blues). |
